The Golden Flashes leave this afternoon for the Mid-American Conference Championship, then compete for their 17th consecutive league crown April 24-26 at Shaker Run Country Club in Lebanon, Ohio. Prior to the team's departure, head coach Greg Robertson previewed the battle for another MAC crown.

The Kent State Men's Golf alum will play at Augusta as an amateur this week, earning his spot with a runner-up finish at last year's United States Amateur. Conners tees off early in Thursday's first round in an 8:18 am pairing that includes fellow Canadian and 2003 Masters champion Mike Weir. Ben Crane is also in the group.
